All the Prizes!

I promised there would be prizes for the Midwinter #CozyCowlAlong, and here they are, along with the rules for eligibility.

Our friends at Morehouse Farm Merino have donated a $25 gift card for one winner. And as I mentioned earlier, they’re also offering everyone free shipping until February 28 with the code DEVIOUS. Morehouse’s 3-Strand Merino Worsted is a great choice for both the Glenborough Cowl and Pâte à Choux shoulder cozy.

Sea Change Fibers is also giving away a $25 gift card. You may have fallen in love with Sea Change’s Pelagic Worsted Merino/Rambouillet when you first saw the Perseveration Cowl, which uses one skein each of Odile and Lagoon.

I’m also excited to share a new yarn from our friends at Jaggerspun Yarn. They’ll be sending 2 skeins of their new Botanical Color naturally dyed organic merino. You may recall Jaggerspun’s beautifully colored Mousam Falls from the Powderbowl cowl. I’ve had such great experiences with all of their yarns and I’m a little jealous of whoever gets to try out the new Botanical!

My friend Jen, the artist behind Children of the Rice, is donating a pair of her Thanks for the Hanks 2″ earrings. Aren’t they the cutest?

Duane and Josh, the Louisiana Yarn Guys, have donated two $25 gift certificates to their shop. Their hand-dyed yarns are absolutely scrumptious. You may recall the color Devious Mermaid, which they invented in my honor. It features in my Lorelei’s Looking Glass shawl, but would be super in so many of these cowls.

I’m also donating a few prizes myself. There’ll be free patterns from my pattern library (you can see all the choices on my Ravelry design page), and one lucky winner will win a free seat in one of my spring virtual classes.

Eligibility

Everyone who takes part and posts about their project either to Facebook (where we have a dedicated page), Ravelry (where we’ll have a dedicated group), and Instagram (where we’ll use the hashtag #CozyCowlalong) will be entered to win one of the Participant Prizes, and each post to those places is another entry.

Those who complete a cowl and post about it will also be eligible for one of the Finishers’ Prizes. Each cowl you complete and share will be another entry for the Finishers’ Prizes, so if you can bang out more than one cowl in the time period, go for it!
