Sailing Away
I’ve been working behind the scenes to organize something really big, and I’m so excited to share the news with you all!
In August of 2025, I’ll be hosting the KnitNorth 2025 Alaska knitting cruise — an 11-day cruise leaving out of San Francisco. Onboard we’ll have three terrific instructors: me, Xandy Peters, and color aficionado Karen Heitkamp, and so much knitting and crazy fun planned!
The itinerary includes Glacier Bay, which I’m really excited about, plus Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau, Victoria, B.C., and cruising through the Inside Passage. It also includes plenty of sea days for knitting classes, lectures, parties, games, hijinks, and even some explorations into new applications of color on everyday materials. You can read about the full list of classes and lectures here.
Registration opens Wednesday, March 27, at 9am Pacific Daylight Time — that’s noon Eastern — and all the details can be found at https://www.seascapeknittrips.com. I hope you’ll be able to join us!
