Still Proud

Who knew that a little bit of rainbow knitting could be so divisive?

I have fielded some pretty negative comments and watched my follower count fall in response to my publishing the Proud to Be socks and speaking out in support of LGBTQ+ folx, and all I can say to myself is… it’s more important to be clear about who I am and what I think is important, than to try to attract followers who don’t believe in those things.

So thank you, again, to everyone who loves the Proud to Be socks. I’m still Proud to Be an ally, a momma bear, and an outspoken knitter. I’m proud to have you as a follower, if you’re still proud to be someone who believes in those things, too.
